Report directly to Managing Director in tracking and reporting on investments of high net worth family office including equities (long/short), options, equity swaps, senior secured bank debt, bonds, derivatives, hedge funds and private equity funds

Serve as books and records for two internal Fund of Funds (PE/VC and Absolute Return)

Calculate net asset values of all direct equity and debt positions daily and produce report including P&L, quantity, cost basis, market value and accruals

Report monthly on hedge fund investments including capital contributions, capital withdrawals, MTD/QTD/YTD P&L and IRR calculations for each tranche of capital invested

Report monthly on private equity fund investments including capital calls, distributions, unrealized gains/losses, P&L and IRR calculations

Implemented comprehensive accounting platforms (Axys, GLX/OpenGL & Great Plains) to record all transactions (cash, investments, P&L, accruals, etc.)

Serve as primary portfolio & financial reporting to management and family including monthly reporting package and financial analytics

Confirm trades and reconcile to custodian reports daily

Cash management including monthly reconciliation of bank statements and highlights of major cash transactions, FX gains/losses and purchases/sales of U.S. Treasury Bills and other government securities

Perform ad-hoc analysis and custom reporting as required

Worked with third party software developer to create programs that automate daily reoccurring journal entries between Axys/APX and Great Plains, Private Equity management database, cash transaction analysis and real time dynamic rebalancing

Automated daily data conversion and reconciliation via custom scripts, macros and exception reports, as a result reduced accounting overtime while accelerating month end reporting by a week

Assist internal/external tax accountants to file tax returns for U.S. entitiesr paragraph here.
